I have taken so many pictures that I cannot even begin to post them all. Our time at The Excalibur was fun. We went to all of the casinos surrounding it... including Mandalay Bay, New York New York, and The Luxor. My mom is tired of walking. I am feeling a wee bit achy, too. Who am I kidding? My feet are
killing me. These casinos are HUGE. What appears to be a small distance on the map is a long darn way in real life. Just sayin.'
Here are some highlights (you can click on any picture to make it larger):

Next post I will put up some pictures of Paris (what a beautiful casino!), The Rio, and more.... We are further along the Strip and there is always more to see!
These are such fun pictures, Robin. Clearly, you're having a blast. Keep enjoying.

I want to go so bad. Those pictures are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are wearing comfortable walking shoes. Good pictures. I love that vase, urn or whatever it is next to you. Stick it in your traveling bag. Haha
ReplyDeleteThinking of you.
Looks like you are having a great time! So great to hear. :) Can't wait for more pics. Be safe :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're having fun! Did you see the show at the Excalibur?
ReplyDeleteVegas is like a little world tour! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is the part of the strip I am familiar with....when are you going to go to the record stores?
ReplyDeleteWhat? You mean you're NOT going to Zia Records on Sahara (or their other location-street name escapes me)?
Why else does one go to Vegas?
Larry
Hahahaha. No, we won't be visiting the record stores. How did I know that you were going to say something about this????
DeleteI'm very familiar with all those places you've mentioned. We used to stay at that end of the strip. In more recent visits we've started staying at Harrah's more in the middle of things. You're right about these casinos being huge. You can walk and walk and still have so far to go. At least they're nice and cool which is imperative on one of those super-sweltering Vegas days.
ReplyDeleteVegas is amazing in many ways. Also quite draining at times--physically, mentally, and pocketbook-wise.

These are some great pictures! I love Las Vegas (even if I'm not over 18 yet).

Vegas has so many new things! I went there for my Honeymoon in 1991 and they didn't have roller coasters then. I ever go back, I am riding all of them. Even the Big Shot!
ReplyDeleteEveryone ~ thank you for the well wishes. Having a FABULOUS time:)
ReplyDeleteHang on, Robin! I'm here :) You are having a great time. I'd bet on that. Lovely seeing all those photos and that photo of your good self. Next stop, "Paris" :)

Hope you catch my Wednesday post. This comment is part of my experiment.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've been to Vegas. Rest your feet then go have some more fun!
ReplyDeleteA little "birdy" told me to stop by and visit...
I've always thought it would be fun to visit Vegas to experience the larger-than-lifeness of it. Since I am about the unluckiest person around, I would never go there to gamble. But what a crazy place! Between those sites and the shows, I really will have to get there one day.
ReplyDeleteDid you take the trip (short drive) to Old Town Vegas? I love the strip, hubby likes Old Town. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're having a grand ol' time!
I go away for a short five weeks ... and you end up in Vegas! What's this world coming to - LOL :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a blast!
