SURPRISE. Drum roll please. It is once again HERE'S TO YOU THURSDAY. Every week it seems like I am changing things up somewhat here. This week you guys were so amazing (and YouTube was so cooperative) that I have enough dedications to make TWO posts, rather than the normal one. I could have made it a very long post, but I know some of you already have difficulty with the post loading due to the embedded videos. So, I decided to extend the fun to tomorrow. Make sure you come back (tomorrow) for HERE'S TO YOU FRIDAY.
This
is a weekly event landing typically on Thursdays. The best (or worst)
part is that I am not going to explain why I chose "whatever" footage
for each of you. If, you watch your footage and are scratching your head
at the end, well that means I didn't do a very good job. However, all
is not lost. You can email me at rarichards68@gmail.com
and ask me what I was thinking when I chose that particular piece of
footage off of youtube and connected it to you. And then I will tell
you. Then I will start sending up prayers that I haven't offended the
crap out of whoever is on the receiving end of that email....lol.
Because, honestly, I will tell you right now... I admire all of you
enormously so I really hope that doesn't happen.
Also,
this is not an exclusive venture by any means. I hope that you will take
the time to watch ALL of the footage because I don't pick bad
footage:-) I also hope that you might check out the blog of the person I
dedicated the footage to because they are pretty darn awesome. If you
haven't figured this out yet... I pick the footage based on something
that you've written or something that I've gleaned from your
personality. Think on that for a while... If you are having trouble
watching the entire video (meaning it is being cut off on one side),
click on it a couple of times and it will take you straight over to
youtube. If you click on the four squares at the bottom corner of the
video, it will enlarge it to fill your screen. The escape key will bring
it back to normal size. The back arrow will bring you back to my page.
Now, let's get this PARTY STARTED!!!!

That Budweiser one was perfect. A nice tribute.
ReplyDeleteNice commercial!
ReplyDeleteMy pets aren't worth cooking. They'd be too chewy.
ReplyDeleteRobin-
ReplyDeleteWhile I have been trying to fatten up my cats in order to prepare the perfect feline hoagie, I do not know that I would cook my family...
Was I remiss with commas?
Larry
PS-kidding about the cats....they lead the life of Riley!
Alex ~ I agree.
ReplyDeleteSteven ~ Yes!
Diane ~ Good to know...
DiscConnected ~ I refer you to your blog bit ARE AMERICANS TOO DUMB TO LIVE (MISSED PERIODS EDITION). Your commas are fine... I think;)
LOL at the little boy in the boots video. He's cute. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat Budweiser video was AWESOME!
Good picks, as always. That Bud commercial was stunning.
ReplyDeleteROBIN ~
ReplyDeleteBy God--- er, I mean... Boy George--- er, I mean... By George, that was the prettiest monkey I ever saw! I would marry her if she weren't a he.
Unfortunately though, we've since moved from monkeys to dogs. (You should download our new 'F-FFF Instant' app and stay up to the minute with our animal evilutions.)
If I can get it done and posted tonight, should be 'nother dog on me blog. The problem is, I usually start out with some simple little blog bit idea, but by the time my mind gets done playing with its food, that simple little blog bit idea has become a seven course meal. (Sometimes I hate me x 7.)
Thanks for the honor, Robin!
~ Stephen
mail4rosey ~ Glad you liked:)
ReplyDeleteSusan ~ Yes, it brought a tear to my eye...
Stephen ~ I didn't have a good Dog video... hahaha. I know what it is like to be overwhelmed with information. Good luck with that!
You keep sharing wisdom and knowledge with this old dragon, Robin. There was a time I suspected you had the uncanny ability to see right at people's hearts. I've changed my mind. I am convinced now that you have the uncanny ability to see right at dragon's heart. ;)
ReplyDeleteDragon Hugs!
That is only because it is so BIG!
DeleteThank you so much. I love that song. And that Bud commercial always makes me tear up. It makes me feel like that day made the entire world sad though I know parts of it weren't.
ReplyDeleteWow... I am not sure I've ever seen the Budweiser commercial before.. thank you for posting that, Robin.
ReplyDelete~shoes~
I missed this post because I was traveling last Thursday. It is terrific. Can I adopt that girl?
ReplyDeleteRobin, I am so behind on blog writing and blog reading. But...not book reading!!! I love that you remember these things and post them. I remember everyone of those episodes of Gilmore Girls, but only after you post them. Can't say I am quite as dedicated as Rory! I will be back to look at Here's to You Thursday, Friday and your Tuesday post. You go girl. Someone should do a "Here's to you" to you!
ReplyDeleteSusan ~ It was mostly sad. Yes, there were many heroic actions worth noting, but it definitely isn't a Happy Day.
ReplyDeleteShoes ~ You are sooooo welcome.
JJ ~ Hahahaha. No.
Liza ~ Yay for the book reading! NO ONE is as dedicated as Rory...
