This is a weekly event landing typically on Thursdays. The best (or worst) part is that I am not going to explain why I chose "whatever" footage for each of you. If, you watch your footage and are scratching your head at the end, well that means I didn't do a very good job. However, all is not lost. You can email me at rarichards68@gmail.com and ask me what I was thinking when I chose that particular piece of footage off of youtube and connected it to you. And then I will tell you. Then I will start sending up prayers that I haven't offended the crap out of whoever is on the receiving end of that email....lol. Because, honestly, I will tell you right now... I admire all of you enormously so I really hope that doesn't happen.
Also, this is not an exclusive venture by any means. I hope that you will take the time to watch ALL of the footage because I don't pick bad footage:-) I also hope that you might check out the blog of the person I dedicated the footage to because they are pretty darn awesome. If you haven't figured this out yet... I pick the footage based on something that you've written or something that I've gleaned from your personality. Think on that for a while... If you are having trouble watching the entire video (meaning it is being cut off on one side), click on it a couple of times and it will take you straight over to youtube. If you click on the four squares at the bottom corner of the video, it will enlarge it to fill your screen. The escape key will bring it back to normal size. The back arrow will bring you back to my page.
Now, let's get this PARTY STARTED!!!!

ReplyDeleteI like Martina. It is a shame she looks like Jane Fonda.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, you made me laugh already! I must thank you for that traffic video. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteawesome tune selections dear! Hope you have a fantabulous Thursday & upcoming weekend....big hugs, xoxo
ReplyDeleteOkay now I have to go and check out the blogs that inspired these, lol.
ReplyDeleteYes, I get the connection to my situation though mine wasn't as tragic as this. Like the song.
ReplyDeleteThe version of the old people traffic jam is the best I've seen. It was hilarious. I'll soon be in the parade crossing the street. Well, I hope not, but sometimes I feel that way.
Thanks for the tribute.

The first one's a hoot, but you really outdid yourself with the whistling one. Manzie will love that!
ReplyDeleteAlex ~ Yes, I thought of it as soon as I finished his post...
ReplyDeleteJJ ~ It is a better thing that she doesn't sound or act like her!!!
Al ~ I laugh every time I watch it:)
Mitzi ~ So glad you are back for these Thursday get-togethers.
Brandon ~ And that is what makes it FUN!
Arlee ~ Yes, the song/video is worst case scenario, but I thought you would appreciate the correlation. The reactions of the people in the cars for the first video are what make it great:)
Susan ~ I hope so, Susan. It took me nearly a week to figure out where the whistling scene came from in order to track it down. I could hear it in my head but couldn't place it. Nearly drove me crazy!
I needed a laugh and that first video did the trick. And yes, the video you posted for me was spot-on considering what I've been talking about lately.
ReplyDeleteThat first one was really cute. Thanks for the smiles.
ReplyDeleteThe Breakfast Club is one of my all-time favorites. Every scene is a work of art. It was great seeing a snippet again.
Happy Friday and weekend, Robin.

Such creativity, I'm sure the bloggers hightlighted will enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteOh my heck, that first one is so funny! I've found myself in the self check trying to hurry through and stuck in limbo with computer malfunctions twice lately!
ReplyDeleteYeah, there's a lot here for me today in most of these videos. You have such a way with this stuff. I'm so glad that you've managed to get back to regular blogging. So many can't once they leave it for awhile.
LOL, Manzanita's post caused me to try and whistle The National Anthem all week long, and anyone I mentioned it to would immediately try too. We were whistling fools around here. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL at the prank video, that was great!!
Steven ~ I thought you would appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteRobyn ~ This was another reminder that I need to watch The Breakfast Club... again.
Yolanda ~ I think everyone enjoys when they get tagged out.
Jasmine ~ Hahaha. We are an impatient lot, are we not? I wasn't sure that the blogging would take for me, either, but I really do enjoy it:)
mail4rosey ~ That is too funny. At least your place sounded Happy!
I know this is a "Here's to you Thursday, but it is becoming my "Friday Fix!" Well done, as always. Going to visit some folks now.
ReplyDeleteThe Breakfast Club had so many classic moments.

ReplyDeleteI loved this whole dang post. Still laughing about the old people.......pointing the finger as if I wasn't one of them. Ha
How ever did you find the whistling one? Absolutely perfect. But I pass the credit to Rosey as she can really whistle..... I am sure. My whistling is like listening to your kid when he's trying to learn the trombone. Very painful.
I like all the country tunes although I don't necessarily know the people they are for. I like the scenery in Arlee's song.
I have the techie stuff figured out until I can get the new computer. I just need more time. I'll flick you in and then go and make myself a bite. It's got to be my dumb computer because by that time, your post will have come up. I''m dragging my feet because after I get the new one, I have to go to Bozeman to see my guru. I could not transfer and set up stuff by myself.
A good one Robin.... Thanks and have a very special weekend.
Liza ~ Friday is just as good as Thursday:)
ReplyDeleteDiane ~ You are so right!
Manzanita ~ I think I have The Breakfast Club memorized I have seen it so many times. Ha!
I found the first one courtesy of my mom. People send her the funniest things.
I am sorry you are having computer problems. I suppose the upside is that there might be a blog post in there somewhere...
Hope your weekend is awesome, too!
Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteWell here we are on a Sunday morning and I'm looking back at Thursday. My son has a really fast computer. Will he let me use his computer to actually get your site to load. Um, no.
Okay, after only two attempts and some message from shock wave, whatever that it, yay, its loaded.
Nickelback. Arggghhh!! Canadians are trying to deny they are Canadian. Oops! :) I also note, amongst other stuff, that you have dedicated a video to Lee. I reckon the Alphabet Song would have also been a good one for our buddy.
Okay, sorry, must go. My search for a clone continues......
Thank you, ma'am
ReplyDeleteIt's nothing for me to revel in, but at least I have a certain consolation in hearing about Gary's problem with the page loading slow (or at all). Know I now I'm not the only one who experiences this problem (and my computer is usually fairly fast).

Hi! Sorry I missed this- life is just crazy this month- but no excuses, right?
ReplyDeleteSo-is this a hint? are you trying to get rid of me and say goodbye??? Lol! Or is it bc I've been missing in action???
Ah Ha...light bulb moment- LOL! Thanks for the clarification. Very nice- thank you for the tag!!!!! The song is perfect in relation to my Out of the Darkness post. :) :)
ReplyDeletePerfect! Hahaha! Thanks! I love that song!
