So You Say It's Your Birthday






It was twenty eight years a whole bunch of years ago today that a baby girl was born. And she made her parents so happy. She didn't cry... except when she was hungry and life was good.

And then she grew up.

You know her as the mess that writes this blog.  The song above is a HERE'S TO YOU to me and sums up rather well how I feel about birthdays.

    Okay, people, I am not twenty eight years old. I was a child of the 80s. I only wish I was twenty eight. Twenty eight was great. And I could still say "I'm in my 20s" and it was TRUE.

    Unbelievable- you are the only person I know with a March 30th birthday! Very cool.
    Hope it was a great one! Sorry I missed it.
    That song is awesome. I remember listening to it while on a trip in Cabo San Lucas. Jimmy and Martina make such beautiful harmonies.
