HERE'S TO YOU THURSDAY

Today is the day that I celebrate all of the amazingness that you contributed to blogland this week. Yep, it is that day again. What day is that you ask? How can you have forgotten? Drum roll please. It is HERE'S TO YOU THURSDAY, of course! The very best day of the blogging week. It is the precursor to the best day of the work week.

Here is what is going down: this is a weekly event. The best (or worst) part is that I am not going to explain why I chose "whatever" footage for each of you. If, you watch your footage and are scratching your head at the end, well that means I didn't do a very good job. However, all is not lost. You can email me at rarichards68@gmail.com and ask me what I was thinking when I chose that particular piece of footage off of youtube and connected it to you. And then I will tell you. Then I will start sending up prayers that I haven't offended the crap out of whoever is on the receiving end of that email....lol. Because, honestly, I will tell you right now... I admire all of you enormously so I really hope that doesn't happen.

Also, this is not an exclusive venture by any means. I hope that you will take the time to watch ALL of the footage because I don't pick bad footage:-) I also hope that you might check out the blog of the person I dedicated the footage to because they are pretty darn awesome. If you haven't figured this out yet... I pick the footage based on something that you've written or something that I've gleaned from your personality. Think on that for a while... If you are having trouble watching the entire video (meaning it is being cut off on one side), click on it a couple of times and it will take you straight over to youtube. If you click on the four squares at the bottom corner of the video, it will enlarge it to fill your screen. The escape key will bring it back to normal size. The back arrow will bring you back to my page.

Now, let's get this PARTY STARTED!!!!

  3. Well, if you haven't just stroked MY ego 187 ways, 'til it's panting happily and its little ol' tail is wagging! A humbling compliment AND a video that made me laugh out loud, because I can't stand it when anyone moves my cheese -- mille grazie, my very dear friend ... :) And now I have something to write about for tomorrow! (Sorry I'm behind on things -- one of my co-workers has been sick all week, I've been working extra hours and pretending to be her, too; I fell asleep on the sofa last night ....)

  6. oh Robin, I saw the most excellent news that Marshall was recognized for all of his talent and hard work. I instantly thought of you and how happy that news would make you. I have been so busy getting through Thanksgiving and I had house guests for two days they left on Saturday and then I did nothing but rest on Sunday. then I started shopping via internet on Monday. I have found most of what i'm looking for. Inbetween these things I did have my Mr. Pistol britches overnight.

We celebrate our Anniversary on Saturday so it is a tradition we put our tree up and decorate for Christmas the weekend of our Anniverysary. So I have missed so many post and haven't had time to post myself. I think of you and I just had to check in for Here's to You on Thursday. I still wake up crying but for the most part I think I'm accepting her death more. It is just really hard. I can't delete her off my phone or my contacts. I downloaded pictures of Thanksgiving and I swear I sent them to her e mail account. what is wrong with me? Of course they weren't delivered...so

How are you? Aren't you excited about Marshall? You have to be! Great news I love it when someone gets the recognition they so deserve. I hope and pray that you headaches are getting some better. If i have time I'll scroll back and see what I've missed. Just wanted you to know I'm still hear just really busy. Love ya girl.

  9. Hey, that flash mob food court video happened at our local mall! And several of my neighbours are in their singing their hearts out. Makes me smile every time I watch it, especially knowing how many people are watching it all over the world now. :)
