It's Not A Solo, But It's Still Me Singing...

This morning, our trio sang for the first time in church. I think it went pretty well. If I'd had any idea how WHITE my legs are, I would have insisted on pants. Next time!!!

Yeah, I am the chick on the left, whose legs look like they have NEVER seen the sun.

I am singing the second soprano part (not the melody or the bottom note, but the one in the middle).

What have you been up to lately?

  1. Very pretty - I've sung that with the youth group many times.
What have I been up to? Mentioned you in my blog post for Monday. Have a look!

  2. You all sang beautifully together, and you had the best legs in the trio! You also were the best little toe tapper! It was fun seeing your lovely self, kand hearing you sing. For your next performance, I'd love to see you and your mom do karaoke!

  3. The three of you did a wonderful job! Don't feel bad about white legs. I'd blind people at the beach as well.

  4. That was beautiful. Skin untouched by the sun is healthy and much better than mine all beat up from years of working outside.

  5. That was really pretty. Much better than the singing at my old church. Also, I'm still whiter than you, so worry you not.

  6. GIRL WONDER ~
You should have lied and told us you were wearing white tights. I woulda believed it.

But, for the record, the legs on the woman to the far right were as white as yours but not nearly so shapely. Plus, if toe-tapping is an indication of "feeling da music" (and I think it often is) then you were feelin' it most.

2:00 AM. That's when the bars close.

  7. I'm clapping my hands. That was beautiful, Robin. Your voices blend well together. Yes, I can't believe you aren't wearing white stockings. Stick those gams out in the sun for 15 min. every day. LOL But you look beautiful in that black suit (dress?) You'd turn heads anywhere, white gams and all. hahaha

Don't worry about your legs, although I can't really relate ;)

  10. Well done! Kudos for having the nerve to do it, much less share it! Congratulations!

  11. You all sounded great together! And like Liza said, for having the nerve to do it. When I tried to sing solos back when I was younger, I was always a nervous wreck. You ladies are pros!

  13. Thank you, everyone, for the lovely comments. I would respond to each one, but I am whooped. So much going on here. I will try to do better soon....

  15. That was just beautiful. I could never have the gumption to sing in front of people- well, that and I don't have a beautiful voice like you either.

  16. Great job! And my legs look like that always... and I married an American Indian who always looks tan, so I sure hear the comments. Whateva' he married me anyway, right? ;)

  17. Great job. I think I recognize the lady on the right as well. I was planning on counting how many times you tapped your foot, but with those legs and my sunglasses locked in my car, I just closed my eyes and listened to the music.

  20. Absolutely beautiful. People would pass out in the pews if they heard me sing. I'm terrible. You have a stunning voice.

  21. Very, very nice. The three of you sing in lovely harmony together.
And you legs are a couple shades darker than mine. No worries. Smiles.
    Happy Halloween, Robin. xo

  22. This was lovely. I enjoy seeing bloggers put up things like this. It's nice to get to know each other a bit more personally even though we might never actually meet. My legs are pretty white too though not near as nice as yours.
