Love Is In The Air ~ MORE of YOUR Favorites!

I am still posting Love Is In The Air clips until Valentine's Day. Yep. If you're new to this business, let me tell you how it all started...

Charity Bradford, one of the contributors to the blog Unicorn Bell, posted THIS asking for people to contribute their favorite romantic scenes from movies and TV. You simply shouldn't challenge a YouTube junkie to come up with this sort of stuff. I spent the next few HOURS looking for footage. Yes, you read that right. Hours.

I am tagging all of these Love Is In The Air and you can go back to my January 18 post to watch any that you missed.

Back at the beginning of this thing I asked YOU to share what you think are the most romantic moments on the big and small screen. Today, I am going to share some of YOUR FAVORITES! Sit back and enjoy. Happy Sunday everyone!!!!

Thank you, friends, for sharing YOUR favorites. If you haven't yet, but want to, just leave me a message in the comments with the details of your favorite romantic scene from the big or small screen.

Have you seen The Princess Bride? Serendipity? What did you think????

  1. I love Serendipity! In fact, I re-watched it only recently.

  2. I.... am not much of a romantic when it comes to movies. Not much of a movie guy, either, truth be told. But I'd have to put up the end scene from Titanic for this. The applause as the camera sweeps around the staircase gets me every time.

  3. As... you... wish...!
    Great scene - thanks, Robin.

  4. Misha ~ It is a good one. I haven't seen it in a while.

CW ~ I will look for it!

Alex ~ You are very welcome, kind sir.

  6. John Cusack makes any movie adorable. I've seen both, but it's been a while. Thanks for the fun snippets.

    Have a good week, Robin.

  7. I don't watch a lot of television so it's kinda hard for me to come up with a fave romantic scene.

  9. I watched both these clips and liked them both, but I think I am going with the first clip. I don't watch either of these shows. Now my favorite big screen kiss is between Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable in Gone With the Wind. :)

  10. Robyn ~ John Cusack is adorable, isn't he?

J.L. ~ These were both from movies. The Princess Bride came out in the 80s and Serendipity the early 90s. So, you can choose your favorite MOVIE kiss, too:)

Diane ~ Yes and yes. It's also one of my favorite movies!

GG ~ It wasn't a contest, but that is an idea! These are both movies that you still might catch some day... Gotcha. I will see what YouTube has:)

  11. LOVE the Princess Bride. It's one of those movies I can watch over and over. One love scene I really enjoy is in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Please don't throw rotten tomatoes! I know how many people hate that movie ... but I love all the scenes between Robin (Kevin Costner) and Marian (Mary Elizabeth Mastrontonio -- or however you spell her name ...)

I am THRILLED that you loved my ARC. I would love it if you reviewed it anywhere -- on your blog, on Goodreads. Amazon won't allow reviews posted until the release, but honestly, I'd be thrilled for whatever you wanted to share about my book. Squee!

  12. I've never been a Princess Bride fan for some reason, BUT I love Serendipity. A really charming and sweet tale taken place in my home town...

  13. Dianne ~ I liked the Robin Hood movie, too, despite Costner's difficulty in maintaining the accent. So, no tomatoes! Okay... I will put together a blog bit for the near future as well as something for Goodreads.

Michael ~ You've never been a Princess Bride. hehehehe.
