Hello!  It's me again.  In case the week has completely gotten away from you... today is Thursday.  And you KNOW what that means.  You don't?  It's HERE TO YOU THURSDAY!!!!  ::horns blow raucously::

This is a weekly event landing typically on Thursdays.  The best (or worst) part is that I am not going to explain why I chose "whatever" footage for each of you. If, you watch your footage and are scratching your head at the end, well that means I didn't do a very good job. However, all is not lost. You can email me at and ask me what I was thinking when I chose that particular piece of footage off of youtube and connected it to you. And then I will tell you. Then I will start sending up prayers that I haven't offended the crap out of whoever is on the receiving end of that Because, honestly, I will tell you right now... I admire all of you enormously so I really hope that doesn't happen.

Also, this is not an exclusive venture by any means. I hope that you will take the time to watch ALL of the footage because I don't pick bad footage:-) I also hope that you might check out the blog of the person I dedicated the footage to because they are pretty darn awesome. If you haven't figured this out yet... I pick the footage based on something that you've written or something that I've gleaned from your personality. Think on that for a while... If you are having trouble watching the entire video (meaning it is being cut off on one side), click on it a couple of times and it will take you straight over to youtube. If you click on the four squares at the bottom corner of the video, it will enlarge it to fill your screen. The escape key will bring it back to normal size. The back arrow will bring you back to my page.

Now, let's get this PARTY STARTED!!!!

  1. LOL! And *still laughing* too.

I love segues into movie quotes and scenes. A most excellent example of the creative mind at work, I think.

Love it, love it! Thanks for giving me a huge smile.

  2. These were all great! My favorite was for Susan @ I think, Therefore I Yam, and I GOT it!

  3. The Bucket List was on cable all weekend. Great film.

My bucket list is short-the only thing I really want to do is get to Hawaii (have wanted to go there since Magnum P.I. premiered) of these years.

  4. I like the list. Those 2 were so good in the bucket list. My bucket list is all done and that is one satisfied feeling.
Loved the look on the 2 old people when the van first drives up. Ha

  5. I almost forgot....most important takeaway from "The Bucket List..."

    Find the joy in life.

Life's gonna come and go whether we like it or will lift us up and slam us back we might as well enjoy it!

  6. Yay! Another Joan of Arcadia scene :)

  7. Liked your choice for Huntress :)

  8. Huntress ~ So glad your first tour through a HERE'S TO YOU post went so swimmingly!

    Empty Nester ~ Yay you!

Manzanita ~ I love the movie The Bucket List. I admire you beyond words for having completed your personal list. That is a life well lived. And, yes, the music video was well done.

LC ~ Hahaha. Magnum, P.I. Sooo funny the things that impact us *and how.* Find the joy. Absolutely.

Carol ~ How did I know that would be your fave???

Alex ~ Yes, I hope he likes it:)

  9. Oh my gosh. You hit it just right. TV writers really know how to create sympathy for the bad guy. Thanks for understanding exactly what I was saying on 'Says.'

  10. I always enjoy your Here's to You Thursday posts! I don't know how you find the perfect songs/video clips to accurately share what you picked up from others blog, but you do a remarkable job! And no...I'm not dead...just floating...changing....I think this has been the biggest change of my life. Love all the clips you've shared! Great job hun!

  11. mshatch ~ She did, too. Did you see her comment?

Susan ~ You are right. "Bad" guys can make ultimately make the best "Good" guys.

Mitzi ~ Yes,you have reached a critical turning point in your life that has turned out to be one that redefines you as you knew you. Even so, you still have a wonderful husband and that is a crack of sunlight, no?

  12. My computer still struggles with loading your site. I guess this should be the first site I visit after I log onto my computer. The site loads easier when my computer is fresh. It's probably mostly my computer issue. Wish I could figure this out.

    Tossing It Out

  13. Oh wow awesome vid. Love all those actors it was especially cool seeing John Candy again I need to go watch his movies now, lol.

  14. Although my list of movies that I have actually seen is very short, I think I will have to add Bucket List to that for sure!
Looks like a lot of your blogger friends are going through a myriad of changes. Change is good. If we stop changing, we die way too soon.

  15. Good ones! And yep, I still "feel lucky."

    Happy weekend!

  16. Ha! Hubby brought home a lotto ticket after Susan's post, and I told him thanks for picking up the bookmark.

    "What??" hahahaha

  17. Hey Robin,

Here it is, Saturday evening. And finally, I get here. Yay and horns blow raucously:

Aha and that is folks feeling lucky as they hope that Susan will sign a copy of her book.

    I'm going now......

    Gary :)

  18. Interesting mix of drama and sillyness. Let's hope Papa Ax doesn't go with "Mucous."

  19. Hi, Robin... thank you for thinking of me... the past couple of weeks have been very difficult... with the death of my sister and the way my remaining family continues to evolve/devolve...

Death is so much more than just the end of ones Life... it's the end of the story of that part of the family... I was thinking of how different the day seemed after being told she was gone... it did change... totally.

It went from her being in the present to her being totally thrown into 'past tense'... if that makes any sense.

I mourn the change to my family as much as I mourn her loss.

Of course, things will get better...

Time takes care of that... in one form or another.
