I am putting off the letters for one more day. Turns out we have family over for the holiday. And there just isn't time for a thoughtful post. However, I did have something saved in my favorites that highlights one of my favorite families at their best! Unfortunately, as I was leaving the kitchen I heard something similar shaping up in my dining room. So, my day might be going something like this...
Don't forget to turn off my music player at the bottom of the page.
what puzzles me is that your music player actually never works when I read your blog :) this scene is awesome, although I have to admit that it's not so bad - at least they say (or actually yell) everything pretty bluntly. I think it's worse when instead of open argument, people are tip-toing around the subject and only making these malicious, stingy, sublime but cruel statements...
ReplyDeleteThis is how real families roll.
ReplyDeletelmBo..see that...see how I avoided profanity see SEE...
ReplyDeleteLOL.
love this clip.
My family is crazy too.
I hope your day didn't shape up like that after all, but man, I love those Gilmore Girls!
ReplyDelete@Everyone ~ Turns out that they got it out of their systems before I got back to the dining room so.... I showed up just in time for the eating. We then played a game called Shooters. And I won. So, in my usual subtle fashion I did my happy dance around the kitchen afterwards. Yeah, I do that. Good thing there aren't video cams installed in my house. That stuff would be embarassing on youtube. And I wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing it. I guess that means I have impulse control issues. Anyway, I love moonwalking around the kitchen singing, "I won. I am winner." Again and again. And then I throw in other cool dance steps along with various hand motions. Yeah, I am such a rebel.
