X IS FOR...

For each letter of the A to Z, I'm going to give you a KEYWORD. You post in the comments a song with that word in the title. I will give you one to start (along with a video). If you like, you can go to YouTube and embed your video in the comments, so that readers can also listen to your song. No repeats and only post one song so that everyone can participate. If you're just brimming with songs, come back in a few days and lay it on me! If you want to see who else is participating in the A to Z click here.

You guys did great with the last keyword: Want Here are the songs you thought of with Want in the title:

Michele:You Can't Always Get What You Want by The Rolling Stones and
Everybody Wants You by Billy Squire
Mary: I Want You To Want Me by Cheap Trick and Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi
Rosey: Do You Want To Know A Secret? by The Beatles
Ericka: Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon
Alex: Everybody Wants Some from Better Off Dead
Jeffrey: I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Mario
Stephen T. McCarthy: I Wannit by Walter Egan and I Don't Want To Know by Nils Lofgren
Arlee: Mama Just Wants To Barrelhouse All Night Long by Bruce Cockburn
and If You Want To by Daniel Amos
Andrea: Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? by Culture Club
Marcy: I Want It All by Queen and Who Wants To Live Forever? by Queen
Holli: All I Want by Toad The Wet Sprocket
Mich: Hope, Need, Want by The Curst Sons
Dixie: I Want You To Want Me (again)
Larry: All I Want by Scandal
ABFTS: Do You Want It All by Two Door Cinema Club
Pinku-Sensei: Do You Want To? by Franz Ferdinand
Guilie: I Don't Want To Go On With You Like That by Elton John
Robin (yes, me again): Everything She Wants by Wham!, If She Knew What She Wants by The Bangles and Don't You Want Me? by The Human League
If you can think of more songs from previous letters and WANT to post them now, feel free to go back and add them:)

It's a new day and a new letter!

What is the KEYWORD?

Some letters are hard in the A to Z, but X is insane. As Kevin O'Leary would say...

So we're going to actually stop. As in literally stop. As in use the word Stop.

You can use variations. For example: stops, stopped, stopping.

I present to you.... Stop Draggin' My Heart Around by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty.

You can comment with a song or insert the video by copy/pasting the code in the search bar. Thanks for playing along!

Special thanks to Arlee Bird and the A to Z team who make this possible!

Congratulations on the only A-Z series I looked forward to. Even though you didn't hear from me every day, I dropped by once I discovered the fun here. I didn't respond when someone else had already posted "my" song. =) You did awesome. A well deserved break is needed.

I seriously thought about posting that one here as a tribute to YOU. But then I figured you'd probably want to use it yourself, so I left it for ya.

    3. I momentarily thought about it, but kinda liked the dichotomy that I came up with: Mexican 'n' Cowboy (which is kinda-sorta "Cowboys & Indians").

You can now add YouTube videos in your comments by copy/pasting the link. AND/OR you can insert an image by surrounding the code with this: [im]code[/im]. In the case of images, make sure that your code is short and simple ending with something like .jpg. If you want to use a pic from someplace like Google Images, click on the image, then click on View Image. That is the code you want!
