For each letter of the A to Z, I'm going to give you a KEYWORD. You post in the comments a song with that word in the title. I will give you one to start (along with a video). If you like, you can go to YouTube and embed your video in the comments, so that readers can also listen to your song. No repeats and only post one song so that everyone can participate. If you're just brimming with songs, come back in a few days and lay it on me! If you want to see who else is participating in the A to Z click here.

You guys did great with the last keyword: Want Here are the songs you thought of with Want in the title:

Michele:You Can't Always Get What You Want by The Rolling Stones and
Everybody Wants You by Billy Squire
Mary: I Want You To Want Me by Cheap Trick and Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi

If you can think of more songs from previous letters and WANT to post them now, feel free to go back and add them:)

It's a new day and a new letter!

What is the KEYWORD?

Some letters are hard in the A to Z, but X is insane. As Kevin O'Leary would say...

So we're going to actually stop. As in literally stop. As in use the word Stop.

You can use variations. For example: stops, stopped, stopping.

I present to you.... Stop Draggin' My Heart Around by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty.

You can comment with a song or insert the video by copy/pasting the code in the search bar. Thanks for playing along!

Special thanks to Arlee Bird and the A to Z team who make this possible!

  1. I'll play nice and only post one today :)

The Supremes - Stop! In The Name Of Love | Acapella

    #AtoZChallenge X is for X-Tina

  2. Stop, Stop, Stop by the Hollies:

    Don't Stop by Fleetwood Mac:

  3. George Jones - He Stopped Loving Her Today

  4. I'm offering two since that seems to be the thing to do. But I'm only posting one with the word and the second is going to be a bonus X song. To make up for my song of yesterday. LOL

Weird Al - Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me

    Olivia Newton John - Xanadu

  5. Don't Stop Believing' by Journey

  6. Stop the World by Extreme!
There's also a Xanadu by Rush.

  7. Don't stop til you get enough - Michael Jackson!

  8. "Stop" was almost as hard as X--well not really.

Another song by Daniel Amos--a very short one--"Dance Stop" from their New Wave days:

  9. Never Gonna Stop- Rob Zombie

  10. I totally get it. Stop the Insanity!!!
Congratulations on the only A-Z series I looked forward to. Even though you didn't hear from me every day, I dropped by once I discovered the fun here. I didn't respond when someone else had already posted "my" song. =) You did awesome. A well deserved break is needed.

    1. PS I was gonna go with Stop in the Name of Love too. =)

  11. I'm so sorry to have missed yesterday's post, Robin! :(
Loved your solution to the "X" quandary!
    Here's an X song:

  12. That is a great way to deal with X but I will pick Xanadu sung by Olivia Newton John:)

  13. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Daniel Padilla and Morissette Amon

  14. Translated from Spanish, it's "THE X-RAY" (by David Lindley).

Or if you speak Cowboy instead of Mexican, you can listen to...

    by Waylon Jennings.

    ~ D-FensDogG
    'Loyal American Underground'

  15. Here's an "X"

    ..and here's a "Stop"

  16. Oops-here's the "Stop" video

    1. LC ~
I seriously thought about posting that one here as a tribute to YOU. But then I figured you'd probably want to use it yourself, so I left it for ya.

      ~ D-FensDogG

    2. I half-expected you were going to post the original...

    3. I momentarily thought about it, but kinda liked the dichotomy that I came up with: Mexican 'n' Cowboy (which is kinda-sorta "Cowboys & Indians").

      ~ D-FensDogG

  17. Hi Robin. It's Liza. But I can't link.

Stop in the Name of Love, by the Supremes.

  18. Ray Charles I can't Stop Loving You

  19. I loved this idea to include the songs/"word of the day."

  20. I'm breaking the rules and posting an x...

  21. I was all ready with my X song (Coldplay's X & Y)—and not only did you change the rules BUT SOMEONE ALREADY POSTED IT. My fault for being late, yes, but... I'm still disappointed, haha. So here's a good STOP song:

    Guilie @ Life In Dogs

  22. "Stop Your Sobbing" by The Pretenders.

  23. Spice Girls Stop
