H IS FOR HEART

For each letter of the A to Z, I'm going to give you a KEYWORD. You post in the comments a song with that word in the title. I will give you one to start (along with a video). If you like, you can go to YouTube and embed your video in the comments, so that readers can also listen to your song. No repeats and only post one song so that everyone can participate. If you're just brimming with songs, come back in a few days and lay it on me! If you want to see who else is participating in the A to Z click here.

You guys did great with yesterday's word: Girl. Here are the songs you thought of with Girl in the title:

Michele: Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison and Bad Girls by Donna Summer
Rosey: Girl You Know It's True by Milli Vanilli

If you can think of more songs from previous letters and WANT to post them now, feel free to go back and add them:)

It's a new day and a new letter!

What is the KEYWORD?

You can use variations. In this case, hearts, heartache, heartbreak, etc.

I present to you....There Goes My Heart by The Mavericks.

You can comment with a song using heart or embed the video by copy/pasting the code in the search bar. Thanks for playing along!

  11. It's okay, I live every day like it's Saturday. I also live my life one quarter mile at a time, and sing like no one is watching.

I've been waiting to use these guys (gals). Now finally I have an excuse.

  13. One of the first songs my older son ever sang was "If I Only Had A Heart" from the Wizard of Oz. I bought the CD and we would drive around singing it together.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aE-nMS9Mnk I tried posting a link, but I'm not sure it went through. This is such a great A to Z theme, Robin!

"I Kept Her Heart" by the Pine Box Boys

My brothers and I have re-written the lyrics so they're sung from the woman's point of view (with her killing "Jesse"). We will one day (hopefully) record it with me singing.

You can now add YouTube videos in your comments by copy/pasting the link. AND/OR you can insert an image by surrounding the code with this: [im]code[/im]. In the case of images, make sure that your code is short and simple ending with something like .jpg. If you want to use a pic from someplace like Google Images, click on the image, then click on View Image. That is the code you want!
