Usually I have tons to say. Today not so much. This is a photo of a fish caught off of the coast of Florida. I found it here. The site has a lot of information on the impact the BP disaster in the Gulf is having on our fish and other seafood. It appears that the effects will be widespread and long-term. What a shock. Who knew that dumping all of that oil into the ocean for months would do so much damage?
Don't forget to vote. By the way, you can be pro-Obama, anti-Obama, Democrat, Republican, or Independent. It really doesn't matter. This is the day when your opinion counts. You don't have to agree with everything I write to read this blog. I don't have to agree with everything you write to read and enjoy yours. I love this country and I respect your right to say what you think. It is one of the fundamental rights that we have as Americans. Freedom of speech is so important that people have died for it. They have died for people to express opinions that they didn't share. That is what makes this country amazing.

As for the oil spill, it is believed that a great deal of that oil is in a suspended state in the Gulf.

The BP oil spill is so tragic... I think we've only discovered the tip of how much damage it's done.

Ditto about opinions. I'll commiserate with those who share my thoughts, but I never have and never will try to change anyones mind about their own. We all have our thoughts and ideals and we are entitled to them. That's what this country is all about.

Yeah, voting does give us the illusion that we have choice or a say...but I think the US is just as slim on choices as my country...Having 79 different flavours of cola isn't real choice and parties are like cola. Perhaps its the POWER that ultimately makes them all look like the same crap. Happy voting!
ReplyDeleteI voted and it looks like things might change Obama is not good for this country I am so glad I didnt vote for him...his change he promised has never came and never will in my opinion...that fish looks disgusting, scary too what that oil spill did and what we are putting in our bodies...yikes!!
