HERE'S TO YOU TUESDAY

I just posted a HERE'S TO YOU on Friday (a day late). Today, I'm doing something unprecedented: HERE'S TO YOU ON TUESDAY. Ladies and gentleman, this has NEVER been done. However, you guys wrote amazing blog posts on Monday, inspiring me to go YouTube crazy, and this is the result. I'm ready days in advance, and it's a good thing: Thanksgiving is on Thursday, totally interrupting my HERE'S TO YOU post. So, I am outsmarting the holiday and posting early. Hehehehe. Those turkeys aren't getting anything over on me this year! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

If you don't know what this HERE'S TO YOU stuff is about, let me explain.  This used to be a weekly event landing typically on Thursdays.  When I read your blogs or you say something in the comments that sparks my imagination (or I hear something and I think of you), chances are good I will click over to YouTube to find footage for you. In the old days you wouldn't have to reach back in your memory bank farther than one week. Now... all bets are off. It could be several weeks ago.

The best (or worst) part is that I am not going to explain why I chose "whatever" footage for each of you. If, you watch your footage and are scratching your head at the end, well that means I didn't do a very good job. However, all is not lost. You can email me at rarichards68@gmail.com and ask me what I was thinking when I chose that particular piece of footage off of YouTube and connected it to you. And then I will tell you. Then I will start sending up prayers that I haven't offended the crap out of whoever is on the receiving end of that email....lol. Because, honestly, I will tell you right now... I admire all of you enormously so I really hope that doesn't happen.

Also, this is not an exclusive venture by any means. I hope that you will take the time to watch ALL of the footage because I don't pick bad footage:-) I also hope that you might check out the blog of the person I dedicated the footage to because they are pretty darn awesome. If you haven't figured this out yet... I pick the footage based on something that you've written or something that I've gleaned from your personality. Think on that for a while... If you are having trouble watching the entire video (meaning it is being cut off on one side), click on it a couple of times and it will take you straight over to youtube. If you click on the four squares at the bottom corner of the video, it will enlarge it to fill your screen. The escape key will bring it back to normal size. The back arrow will bring you back to my page.

Now, let's get this PARTY STARTED!!!!

    1. Funny that you comment on the song and not the people running into walls... hahahaha.

  2. Regarding the turkey day cartoon-there is another stuffing additive I'd recommend over Prozac...it grows naturally (although if you grow it it still carries some mandatory time at a fine state residence), handles just like many other herbs and spices in the kitchen, and will make you think that whatever nonsense that is on television after you finish your Thanksgiving meal is the funniest stuff on earth!

What if you run someone's numerology and it comes out negative?

    1. Regarding numerology... no such thing as a bad number. There is living on the negative side of your numbers (not good, but fixable) and numbers that don't interact well with other numbers. But no "bad" numbers. So, I think if you are curious you should send me your info. I'd be happy to work up your chart for you!

  3. Thank you! It's been so long. And now Sheldon can grow his own Leonard Nimoy and not have to return any of those gifts.
For the record, a signed John Petrucci guitar would produce the same reaction in me. Less the wanting to grow my own John Petrucci.

    1. I was THRILLED when you wrote something on your last post that triggered a memory of a YouTube clip. I know it's been a long time since I dedicated something to you, so it was wonderful for me, too!

Good to know about the growing of John Petrucci....;)

  4. ROBIN ~
That was interesting. And you know what? You're right. My Life Path Number is a 4, and listening to all the brief descriptions for the various numbers, what she said about the 4 applies to me far more so than any of the other descriptions she gave.

You're gradually turning me into a Numerology believer.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Girl Wonder.

    1. Yes, those are very direct descriptions (without any nuance), and as you know, if you have more than one number in your chart, you will likely have some aspect of that number showing up in your personality. She was dead on with your 4 and my 3 (must communicate.... yak yak yak!).

Well, you gradually turned me into a NWO believer. So fair is fair;)

  5. I had to watch them all. There's some funny stuff there. Liked Rob Thomas' song but hated the ending - looked scary. That's my favorite clip from Big Bang - always love a good Sheldon & Penny banter. Watched the numerology three times - ironically I'm a seven! Wow - nice one, Robin. Now I'm off to check out those blogs!!
    Have a great bird day.

  6. I find numbers interesting. I did mine and came out a four but I knew I would as I'm still seeking knowledge. People often ask me why I still study..... I guess because I'm a four. LOL

  7. lol I haven't seen the Gilmore's but families that have to go everywhere for holiday dinners must get so stressed out. ;) Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. :)

  8. Happy Thanksgiving. I hate stuffing the turkey but I love pie.

  9. Dixie ~ I love that you watch them all:) I think the Rob Thomas video is interesting conceptually. Since it's about "this is how a heart breaks," don't you find it fascinating that he's trying to outrun it? At the end, when he comes face to face with it... it's himself. Granted, a darker version of himself, but still himself. I think (maybe I'm all wet here) that we feel like can stave off heartbreak by keeping ahead of it. Not allowing it close to us. But, it's never really someone else who breaks our heart. It's us. It's our feelings. So the heartbreak happens when we catch up to us. That dark self was the sadness, the loneliness, the break in heartbreak.... and it caught up to him in the end. Now, there is no choice but to feel it. And this is how a heart breaks.

Manzi ~ Doesn't shock me at all that you are a four? My friend, Stephen T. McCarthy, for whom I worked up a fairly extensive numerology chart is also a four life path. I think you two are very much alike!!!

rosey ~ Oh, you're missing out. The Gilmore Girls is excellent family television, and it would be so much to watch mother-daughter!

  10. Great clip for Robyn's story about walking into glass doors! Always love Seinfeld, and who doesn't like pie?! I'm a little frightened that you're starting to figure out Stephen! Ha, ha! Hope you and your mom have a happy Thanksgiving!

  11. Walking into glass doors-been there and done that-great clip for Robyn's story. The Big Bang their was funny and my # wasn't said! it came out to 10 which would be 1-she started at #2-bummer for me

  12. Julie ~ Hahahaha. I'm sure there's still some mystery there;)

Birgit ~ If your number came out to 10, then you are a 1. 1+0=1. If you go back and watch again, you can see what she says about a 1 life path.

  13. Haha, I'm laughing. Thank you, Robin. I don't know how or where you found that perfect clip for me, but you did. I love it, and I love how they act so natural -- as if nothing happened -- after walking into glass, hoping nobody saw them. I do the same, but my laughter gives it away.

I think that clip of Seinfeld is his best snippet. He's really "on." Hilarious. Perfect for BnB.

The Rob Thomas song is a new one to me; it's a great, impassioned song, a fitting match for Yvonne.

    Have a great Thanksgiving! xo

  14. Hi Robin,

That's it, I should of bought a new computer instead of new furniture and an actual bed to sleep on. Once again, when you post up all these videos, not only can I not get them to load, my computer crashes.

This means, I have to just agree with the comments and hope for the best :) I do know that even though you are officially a rebel doing this on a Tuesday, I understand your logic. After all, that other Thanksgiving is arriving. Happy American Thanksgiving, dear Robin.

    Gary :)

  16. Odd I could see them all except the one that was meant for me. Says video not available. ANyway, they are all very funny. My favorite was the Big Bang Theory one. Dragon Hugs!

  17. I don't know what my life number is, but I do know my sleep number, which I deem to be more valuable. Best night's sleep ever.

Also, that clip of Jerry Seinfeld is spot on. Nothing I love more than going to lunch with a friend only for them to spend it all on Facebook talking about how much fun they're having. If I wanted to spend an hour with my nose in my phone I'd do that at home.

  18. Aww great song! Thanks for thinking of me, sweets. :)

  19. Thanks for the link, Robin! Very accurate song, as always. You have an ear for these things. Dragon Hugs!

  20. Distracted by Bryan's comment - Sleep Number Bed has made me such a happy chick. It's like a warm hug all night long.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand - I loved the Seinfeld clip. So true. More people stare at their phones then the people they're actually with.

  21. So funny, Robin! Never saw that pie clip. Also love Gilmore Girls, as you know, and that Big Bang scene is one of my favorites!! Now off to read more blogs!
